Collecting and removing garden waste

Identify the waste to collect

Specify the type and volume of waste: grass clippings, leaves, pruning residues or other plant material. The provider confirms accepted materials, permitted sizes and any sorting requirements.

Gathering and loading

Agree the collection point, any bagging, containers and loading arrangements. Specify whether waste has already been gathered or whether collecting it from around the garden should be included in the work.

Transport to a suitable facility

Agree transport and the waste destination according to local disposal routes and conditions. Before the work, confirm access to the chosen facility, any disposal fees and the conditions that apply to the materials concerned.

Prepare your enquiry

Specify the waste type and approximate volume, and the length and diameter of branches. Include photos where possible and describe access, steps, the distance to the vehicle and available containers. Mention diseased plants, potentially invasive plants and any material mixed with soil, stones or other waste. Agree sorting, loading, transport, destination and any fees in the quotation.

Scope and separate services

This section covers green waste accepted by the provider and the chosen facility. Lawn mowing belongs to 11.1, hedge and shrub trimming to 11.2, flower bed maintenance to 11.3, planting to 11.4, garden watering during absences to 11.5 and winter protection to 11.6. Tree pruning and felling belong to 11.8; removal of the resulting waste must be specified separately. Rubble, chemicals, treated timber and household waste are outside this section. Stumps, large branches, diseased plants or potentially invasive plants require specific confirmation of acceptance. DomusHelp does not carry out collection itself and does not guarantee that a facility will accept the waste.

Quotes and service limits

Major landscaping, earthworks and masonry are outside the scope of this category. Cleaning terraces, paths and entrances remains in section 9.5.
