DomusHelp in Alsace

Local development is being prepared together with residents, municipalities, associations, services and providers who genuinely understand Alsace and its linguistic, social and geographical characteristics.

Local development in preparation

Territorial approach

Building with Alsace, not deciding for it from a distance.

DomusHelp wishes to explore how people in Alsace may eventually find useful, non-medical services at home more easily. An approach of this kind cannot simply be transferred from Switzerland or determined remotely.

Local development must begin with actual needs, existing public, social, non-profit and private structures, the French framework, local circumstances and the experience of people who genuinely know the territory.

Needs and resources must be assessed locally, without assuming that the same response suits every municipality. This page concerns Alsace only. It does not announce coverage of the whole of Grand Est or France, or services that are already available.

What this page allows today

  • Understand the project and its non-medical scope.
  • Report a recurring practical need observed in a municipality or part of the area.
  • Introduce an association, public authority, social service or other useful local resource.
  • Present a non-medical activity and its service area.
  • Express an interest in contributing to a future local presence.

What is not yet available

  • The ability to request a home visit or service in Alsace.
  • An immediately available network of verified local providers.
  • A guarantee of a response, price, appointment, availability or referral.
  • Local categories or subpages presented as operational.
  • An established DomusHelp local contact point in Alsace.

Preparation

Four steps before any real local launch.

Listen

Understand the practical difficulties genuinely experienced by residents, close contacts and local organisations.

Map

Identify existing resources and make them easier to understand without creating unnecessary parallel structures.

Verify

Clarify the activity, location, responsibilities, insurance arrangements and limits of every resource presented.

Build together

Shape a local presence with people from Alsace, according to the actual needs of the territory.

Scope to be explored

Proposed non-medical areas of everyday support.

DomusHelp may explore the following eight areas of need. They are shown to explain the possible scope of the project, without linking to local categories or subpages that have not yet been developed.

1 Useful small repairs
2 Safety inside the home
3 Access, small outdoor areas and seasons
4 Comfort and home adaptation
5 Practical support and light logistics
6 Wellbeing at home
7 Pets at home
8 Administrative and digital everyday help

These areas describe a possible working scope. They do not mean that a DomusHelp service, provider or availability already exists in Alsace.

Who can contribute?

Local development requires several perspectives.

Residents and close contacts

To report concrete difficulties, services that are hard to find or recurring obstacles in everyday life.

Municipalities and organisations

To make existing resources more visible, avoid duplication and clarify public, social or community pathways.

Local providers

To present a non-medical activity, its service area, limits, insurance arrangements and conditions.

Future local contacts

To help shape a local presence with its own identity and in accordance with the needs of Alsace.
