Any disinfection must be expressly defined, justified and carried out using an appropriate product and method.
Quotation, specification and reporting
The quotation should state the building, areas, frequency, times, tasks, exclusions, products, equipment, waste, access arrangements, travel, charges and price. Reporting a failed light, leak or visible damage is neither a diagnosis nor a repair.
Clear limits
Stairwell and communal-area cleaning does not replace property administration, a security service, an unagreed winter service, an electrician, lift engineer, fire-protection specialist, pest-control service, decontamination, post-incident restoration, hazardous-waste removal or unsafe work at height.
