Non-medical facial care in the district of Entremont

DomusHelp helps organize practical support for non-medical facial care at home in the district of Entremont and Lower Valais. This subcategory concerns comfort, wellbeing and light aesthetic gestures: gentle cleansing of healthy skin, moisturizing with a usual product, applying a non-medicated care product already tolerated, simple makeup removal if the person asks for it, preparing a mirror, a towel, a clean space or a quiet moment dedicated to the face. The interventions must remain simple, non-medical, non-emergency, without skin diagnosis, without dermatological treatment, without invasive procedure, without nursing care and always respectful of consent, privacy, modesty, hygiene and the person’s rhythm.

What this help covers

This help may concern light, non-medical comfort care: preparing a clean surface, gathering products already known to the person, checking that towels are clean, protecting hair or clothing, setting up pleasant lighting, gently cleansing the face with a non-aggressive product, applying a usual moisturizing cream, applying a non-medicated mask already tolerated or performing a very light relaxing gesture, without therapeutic promise or guaranteed result. It may also include sorting expired facial products, separating daily-use products from reserves, identifying a practical difficulty or reporting redness, irritation or a visible change without making a diagnosis. The aim is to offer a moment of comfort, maintain a personal presentation chosen by the person and distinguish simple aesthetic care from a situation requiring medical advice or a qualified professional.

The face is a sensitive area: skin, eyes, lips, mucous membranes, allergies, cosmetic products, ongoing treatments, fatigue, modesty and vulnerability must be taken seriously. DomusHelp does not replace a dermatologist, doctor, care service, nurse, qualified beautician when the situation requires specific competence, or emergency service. In case of a wound, burn, infection, painful spot, significant eczema, allergic reaction, swelling, pain, unusual redness, suspicious lesion, eye problem, recent procedure, recent injection, medical skin treatment or doubt about a product, the care must not be carried out without competent advice. No new product must be applied without clear agreement, and no photo of the face, personal data, commercial recommendation or product sale must be imposed. Invasive or risky acts such as chemical peeling, microneedling, dermabrasion, injection, laser, medical treatment, aggressive facial hair removal, permanent makeup or application of a prescribed product do not fall under this help.

Preferred providers

Insured wellbeing and aesthetic service

Suitable for simple, gentle and non-medical gestures: preparing the space, using the person’s usual products, carrying out light cleansing on healthy skin, applying a non-medicated cream, organizing facial products and passing on a clear observation if something appears unusual.

Qualified beautician

Suitable when a real aesthetic facial treatment is desired, when a new product must be used, when the skin is sensitive, when the person wants a more complete protocol or when hygiene, technique, comfort and respect for the skin must be reliably ensured.

Supervised local support

Suitable only for tasks without risk and without direct care: preparing a clean towel, setting up a mirror, gathering the indicated products, noting preferences, helping book an appointment or passing a request to a relative, a qualified beautician or a competent professional.

Before the intervention

  • Clarify the request: gentle cleansing, moisturizing, simple makeup removal, relaxation moment, product organization or preparation for an aesthetic appointment.
  • Confirm that the person clearly consents to the care, facial contact, the areas concerned, the planned duration and the gestures that may or may not be carried out.
  • Identify authorized products, products already tolerated, known allergies, contact lenses, glasses, sensitivities, scent preferences and products to avoid.
  • Report any wound, irritation, unusual redness, swelling, pain, infection, eye problem, recent procedure, dermatological treatment or medical doubt before starting.
  • Prepare a clean and respectful space: clean hands, clean towel, sufficient light, comfortable position, protected private items and the possibility for the person to stop at any time.
  • Refuse any intervention if consent is not clear, if the person seems uncomfortable, if a product appears risky, if a skin reaction is visible or if the situation falls under medical care.

What DomusHelp does not cover

  • Dermatological diagnosis, treatment of acne, eczema, infection, burn, wound, suspicious lesion or allergic reaction.
  • Chemical peeling, microneedling, dermabrasion, laser, injection, invasive act, permanent makeup, medical anti-aging treatment or risky aesthetic procedure.
  • Application of prescribed medication, medical cream, corticosteroid product, antibiotic, disinfectant, dressing, wound care or nursing gesture.
  • Aggressive facial hair removal, eyelash or eyebrow tinting, sensitive chemical products, extension application, intervention near the eyes or act requiring specific training.
  • Forced sale, promise of result, commercial pressure, collection of facial photos, image publication, medical advice or product recommendation without a clear framework.
  • Intervention in case of pain, swelling, allergy, feeling unwell, confusion, infection, emergency, loss of consent or situation where immediate safety is not assured.
