DomusHelp in Lombardy
A local presence is being prepared with residents, municipalities, associations, services and providers who genuinely know the area, its urban contrasts, alpine zones and social realities.
Local opening in preparation
Territorial approach
Build with Lombardy, not in its place.
DomusHelp wishes to explore how guidance towards useful non-medical home services in Lombardy could, in time, be made easier. A project of this kind cannot be transferred automatically from Switzerland or decided from a distance.
Development must start from real needs, the public, social, community and private structures already in place, the Italian and regional framework, and the experience of people who genuinely know the territory.
Lombardy brings together very different realities, from major cities and peri-urban zones to alpine valleys and small municipalities. This page concerns Lombardy only and does not announce coverage of the whole of Italy or already available services.
What this page allows today
- Understand the project and its non-medical scope.
- Report a recurring practical need observed in a municipality or part of the region.
- Introduce an association, public authority, social service or another useful local resource.
- Present a non-medical activity and its service area.
- Express interest in future local participation.
What is not yet available
- The possibility of already requesting a home intervention in Lombardy.
- A ready-to-use network of verified local providers.
- Any guarantee of response, pricing, appointments, availability or referral.
- Local categories or subpages presented as operational.
- A DomusHelp local presence already established in Lombardy.
Preparation
Four steps before any real opening.
Listen
Understand the practical difficulties actually experienced by residents, relatives and local actors.
Identify
Identify existing resources and make them easier to understand without creating an unnecessary parallel structure.
Verify
Clarify the activity, territory, responsibilities, insurance arrangements and limits of each resource presented.
Build together
Develop a local presence with people from Lombardy according to the real needs of the territory.
Scope to be explored
The non-medical areas being considered.
DomusHelp may explore the following eight families of needs. They are shown to explain the possible scope of the project, without creating links to categories or local subpages that do not yet exist.
These areas describe a possible scope of work. They do not mean that a service, provider or DomusHelp availability already exists in Lombardy.
Who can contribute?
Local development needs several perspectives.
Residents and close contacts
To report concrete difficulties, services that are hard to find or recurring obstacles in everyday life.
Municipalities and organisations
To make existing resources more visible, avoid duplication and clarify public, social or community pathways.
Local providers
To present a non-medical activity, its service area, limits, insurance arrangements and conditions.
Future local contacts
To help shape a local presence suited to Lombardy’s institutions and needs.
